Banja Luka College officially opened its AI Lab – a laboratory for artificial intelligence, innovation, and digital learning, marking a significant step forward in the digital transformation and modernization of higher education.
The AI Lab is a modern space dedicated to developing digital competencies, applying innovative AI tools, personalizing learning experiences, and connecting theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Its primary goal is to provide students and academic staff with opportunities to explore emerging technologies, develop creative ideas, and acquire the knowledge and skills essential for today’s dynamic labor market. The project is particularly significant as it builds upon the knowledge and experience gained during international training in Bielefeld, Germany, conducted within the framework of the Erasmus+ RELIABLE project. The expertise acquired through this international collaboration provides a foundation for introducing innovative teaching methods and promoting the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into education. The development and implementation of the AI Lab involved Prof. Dr. Svetlana Dušanić-Gačić, Prof. Dr. Boris Damjanović, Prof. Dr. Mirjana Milovanović, Prof. Dr. Nikola Novaković, and Prof. Mr. Dragan Pejić, whose expertise, collaboration, and dedication contributed to establishing this innovative educational environment. The opening of the AI Lab marks the beginning of new initiatives focused on exploring the potential of artificial intelligence, developing interdisciplinary projects, enhancing teaching and learning processes, and strengthening cooperation between academia and industry.
